Finished circumference = body circumference + total ease. Flat width = finished circumference ÷ 2; it is not a pattern-piece width. Desired lengths are used as entered.
Before cutting
Seam and hem allowances are excluded. Add them to the edges of a drafted pattern, not to body circumferences. Test the fit in scrap fabric; joints, fabric thickness and doll proportions affect movement.

Small questions, clear answers.
How do I calculate 1:12 dollhouse scale?
Divide the real-world measurement by 12, keeping the same unit. A 120 cm table becomes 10 cm. To work backward, multiply the miniature measurement by 12.
How do I convert between miniature scales?
Multiply the existing miniature measurement by the original scale denominator, then divide by the target denominator. A 10 cm item at 1:12 becomes 5 cm at 1:24. For a printable, use 12 ÷ 24 × 100 = 50%.
Can I mix inches, centimeters and millimeters?
Yes. Select an input unit and a result unit separately. One inch is exactly 2.54 cm, or 25.4 mm. A foot is 12 inches.
Will the dimensions guarantee that my furniture fits?
Scale conversion gives proportional dimensions. Check the actual room, doorway clearance, material thickness and assembly tolerances before cutting. The furniture examples are illustrative measurements, not universal standards.
Are my measurements uploaded anywhere?
No. All calculations run in your browser. There is no account, AI service or measurement upload.
